With a PhD in Economics and over 15 years of experience working with numbers, complex mathematical models and detail-driven projects, Veronique brings analytical expertise and a meticulous eye for detail to every client's books.
Having also spent two and a half years working as an accountant, she understands exactly what accountants need from your bookkeeping, making tax time smoother and helping you avoid unnecessary headaches.

What's the difference between a bookkeeper and a BAS agent?
A bookkeeper keeps your day-to-day records: invoices, bills, bank reconciliations, payroll and reports. A registered BAS agent can also prepare and lodge your BAS and IAS and deal with the ATO on your behalf about GST, PAYG and super. Thrive Ledger does both.
Do I still need an accountant?
Usually, yes, for your tax return and bigger-picture advice. We work alongside your accountant and hand over clean, reconciled books at year end, which tends to make their job quicker and cheaper for you.
How do you keep up with ATO and Fair Work changes?
As a registered BAS agent and a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers we have ongoing professional development obligations, so staying current is part of the job, not an extra.
Which software do you use?
Xero and MYOB. We can set you up from scratch, move you across from a spreadsheet or another system, or tidy up a file that's got away from you.
Do you only work with businesses in Margaret River?
We're based in Margaret River and love working locally, but everything we do works just as well online, so we're happy to help businesses anywhere in WA.
