Meet Veronique
A registered BAS agent who likes small businesses, tidy books and explaining things properly.

My story
A little about me
I arrived in Australia in 2008 and spent 13 years working as a research economist at the University of Western Australia. After years of working with numbers, I was ready for something a little more hands-on. I've always enjoyed accounting, so I completed a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and spent two and a half years working in an accounting practice in Margaret River. That experience gave me a solid understanding of not just how to keep accurate books, but what happens to those numbers when they reach your accountant.
Why I started Thrive Ledger
I started Thrive Ledger because I wanted to work directly with small business owners and put my background in economics, accounting and business management to good use. What I love most is taking the bookkeeping burden off someone's shoulders, giving them the time and peace of mind to focus on what they do best. I genuinely enjoy seeing small businesses succeed, and knowing that I'm playing a part in their success makes my work incredibly rewarding.
Life in Margaret River
After travelling around Australia, Western Australia was easily my favourite state. I spent 10 years living in Perth before making Margaret River home, and I couldn't imagine a better place to live. I love being surrounded by nature, the relaxed lifestyle and the fact that I can get around without seeing a single traffic light! When I'm not working with numbers, you'll usually find me swimming in the ocean, walking the trails with my dogs or keeping active outdoors.

How we work
Thorough
We check all details twice, because the small things are what go wrong at BAS time.
Plain-spoken
We'll tell you what we're doing and why, in words that don't need a glossary.
On your side
We're independent of your accountant and work alongside them, so you get the best of both.
Generous with know-how
We're happy to teach you the bits you'd rather handle yourself.
Where we work
Onsite around Margaret River, Busselton, Dunsborough, Augusta and surrounds, and online anywhere in WA. Most clients mix the two.
